摘要

Vertebral-Subclavian steal phenomenon is defined as proximal subclavian artery atherosclerosis affecting the vertebral artery circulation. It is not an uncommon condition and is usually asymptomatic. When it occurs with clinical neurological symptoms, it is called vertebral-subclavian steal syndrome. In the presenting report, neck duplex provocation hyperemic test is used to augment the reversal flow of vertebral artery and trigger the subjective sensation of dizziness simultaneously. Based on the positive result, less invasive bypass surgery was performed to improve the patient's symptom.
