title = "Hyperinakin, a new anti-inflammatory phloroglucinol derivative from Hypericum nakamurai",
abstract = "Phytochemical investigation of Hypericum nakamurai (Masamune) Robson has led to the isolation of three phloroglucinol derivatives 1-3. The structures of these compounds were determined by the analysis of their spectroscopic data (IR, mass and UV), and by the application of 1-D and 2-D-NMR techniques. Hyperinakin (1) is a new compound. The anti-inflammatory activities of compounds 1-3 were also tested and evaluated. A biogenetic pathway for compounds 1-3 was also proposed.",
