Acalyphidins M1, M2 and D1, ellagitannins from Acalypha hispida

摘要

Two new monomeric hydrolysable tannins, acalyphidins M1 and M2, together with fourteen known polyphenols were isolated from the leaves of Acalypha hispida, and characterized as 1-O-galloyl-3,6-(R)- hexahydroxydiphenoyl-4-O-brevifolincarboxyl-β-D-glucose, and an oxidative metabolite of geraniin, respectively, by spectroscopic and chemical methods. A new hydrolysable tannin dimer, acalyphidin D1, which is composed of two moles of geraniin, was also isolated and characterized as an acetonyl derivative.
