藥理學科的主要任務為負責醫學系及牙藥護各系之藥理學及藥理學實驗等課程,並支援醫科所分子藥理組之研究教學。醫學系課程主要在(1)疾病與治療(2)系統整合課程(3)各系統之藥理學實驗及專題研究。
另一方面,醫科所分子藥理組(原藥理學研究所)成立之宗旨在培訓具藥理專業能力且具科學研究能力之人才,期盼對生物科技產業、醫療院所和學術研究機構提供專業之研發與服務人才。
