Abstract

Nursing tasks are stressful and nursing responsibilities are heavy. Nurse managers take more responsibility than others and overcome more stressful situations. Therefore, the first priority of good nurse managers is ensuring the well-being of the staff nurses and themselves. Well-being is a subjective feeling about feeling satisfied about work, life, and being yourself. The higher satisfaction, the greater the sense of well-being. How do you bring a sense of well -being to staff nurses and yourself? First of all, praise yourself and praise others. Do not deny yourself, but rather talk to yourself with a tone of self-reflection about what was not done well. Encourage yourself by saying, "I am great!" Say the same to others. Often remember to express gratitude and bless to others and yourself. Grow aware of the things that happen in your surroundings. Do not worry about or argue over trivial matters. Learn and admit your loss, accept your insufficiency, and learn humbly. Always expect yourself to become better, implement tasks, and affirm yourself. Cultivate staff nurses and yourself with behaviors such as smiling, adapting, understanding, tolerating, enjoying, showing humility, being kind, and appreciating. With these types of behaviors, you are on the path to becoming a good nurse Manager.
