Description
The purpose of this project is focused on developing and verifying an evidence-based medicine (EBM) evaluation rubrics through a rigorous assessment process. The major method is Delphi that based on expertise consensus technique in social science. After Delphi survey, this project will give expertise simulated EBM reports and invite them to evaluate those simulated EBM reports with two evaluation tools. The first evaluation tool is the most popular tool used in national quality improvement competition that hold by Joint Commission of Taiwan (JCT). The second evaluation tool is developed in this project. That expertise will be divided into two groups randomly, and evaluate those simulated EBM reports individually with different tool. This project will compare inter-rater reliability between two groups, and will apply the EBM rubrics in regular EBM course in Taipei Medical University Hospital. The project will use questionnaires to collect learning satisfaction from learners and to collect awareness of assessment fairness from learners and teachers. Semi-structured interview will be executed after EBM course. A set of high quality EBM rubrics will be done by this project.
