【成立宗旨】

本校掌握時代脈動及傾聽社會需求,配合教育部學用合一,減少學用落差的教育政策,並考量本校暨本學院之發展目標與教學研究特色,特成立「食品安全學系」,以本校醫療衛生專業為基礎,預防醫學為目標,共同為促進健康、預防疾病、增進生活品質並延長人類壽命的目標而努力,期可達到全人健康的目的。

【學系特色】

一、為國內首創之食品安全學系。

二、以本校醫療衛生專業為基礎,橫跨食品安全領域之特色教學研究。

三、以「食品安全」與「食品管理」為教育主軸,培育食品安全領域兼具理論與實務能力之專業人才。

【教育目標】

一、培育「從農場到餐桌」全方位食品安全管理之專業人才。

二、建立「食品安全風險分析暨管理」跨領域教學研究服務團隊。

三、推動全民食品安全教育。

四、加強食品安全國際合作交流。
