TMU established a Cancer Research Center to combine and leverage the efforts of researchers and clinical professionals seeking integrative cancer treatments and training methods for care professionals. This will to improve cancer treatment quality and Taiwan’s global competitive strength in several ways:

1) By researching epidemiology, scholars and clinicians can understand cancer and develop various types of preventive strategies.

2) By developing and monitoring biomarkers for cancer, clinicians can have strategies for early detection, diagnosis, or prognosis.

3) By searching for new cancer treatment targets and strategies, researchers can develop biomarkers to predict the efficacy of treatments.

Fingerprint The fingerprint is based on mining the text of the scientific documents related to the associated persons. Based on that an index of weighted terms is created, which defines the key subjects of research unit
